Major Accomplishments This Week:

• Moved out from the womb! Hannah's journey of life outside the womb has begun. Hallelujah!
• Perfect 10/10 Apgar score! The midwives see a lot of home birth babies, which are generally calmer and more alert than the average hospital birth baby. However, even the midwives were impressed with Hannah's demeanor. They said she seemed to be seeing things really well (I assume they meant her eyes were tracking things well) and had amazing motor control for a newborn. They pronounced her "exceptional". Praise God!
• From meconium to golden poo! Okay, okay, so you didn't really want to know. But it's important for babies to get their bowels in good working order. She's great at burping, too!
